Description
The child can either write or draw a picture of something that is worrying them. They then place the ‘worry’ in their Worry Monster’s mouth, which is then zipped up. The child can then go to sleep without worrying because their worry monster will eat their worries away.
The parent/guardian takes out the ‘worry’ whilst the child is sleeping. The parent/guardian then knows about the child’s worry.
The child wakes and their toy monster has eaten their worry away, leaving the parent/guardian worry aware, and the child worry-free.
