The hefty weave rope base is supported by four sleek, slightly slanted legs. On top of the ottoman is a luxurious base cushion, which is available in 3 earthy colours and made of a UV and water-resistant fabric called Kvadrat. The rope’s flexible and delicate fibres are waterproof olefin fibres designed to withstand the weather. The rope has a large rubber core and dries quickly after being wet, taking only about 30 minutes to dry in the sun. To create a visually attractive collection of furniture that is equally at home outside, Alexander Rose masterfully mixes marine-grade rope with either aluminium or stainless steel frames.
