I recently installed the Google GWX3T Nest Doorbell (Battery) and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. The wireless setup was incredibly easy, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my home security. The 960p video quality is crystal clear, allowing me to see who’s at my door at any time, day or night. The battery life is solid, and it fits perfectly into my smart home ecosystem, working seamlessly with Google Assistant.One of the standout features is the intelligent alerts, which help distinguish between people, packages, and animals, making it super convenient to stay informed. The two-way audio is also clear, which has been useful for speaking to delivery drivers when I’m not home.The only thing to note is that if you want to take advantage of facial recognition features, you will need to subscribe to a premium service (Nest Aware). While the doorbell works wonderfully without it, the added benefit of recognizing familiar faces is a premium feature that comes at an additional cost.Overall, this is an excellent wireless doorbell, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use smart doorbell with great video quality and features. – Mounting.Super easy to mount with the provided template! Don’t worry if at a later date you decide you need to use the provided wedge to give you that needed tilt the holes are extraly the same as the fixing plate and once locked into place it’s super secure!- Setup.The Google home app literally talks you through everything and is super easy to follow! All you need is the home app and scan the QR code on the back of the camera and done! Grate field of view and very good quality which I was a little sceptical about as the specs where not brilliant but it’s as good as my 5MP CCTV system!- App settings.Plenty of separate settings you can adjust such as for better battery life or better quality, linger recording ect, even chimes with existing Google speakers!- AdditionalYou can wire to the mains the cables are provided but unfortunately our house has never had a doorbell so we don’t have this option but after researching this device for a while even at maximum use it’d last us a month on a full charge and that’s with alot of use that’s more than we’d probably use but where more than happy with that as it charges relatively quickly.-phone supportWithin a few seconds of the button being clicked all the speakers are ringing to a chime you choose (p.s they have event ones like Halloween) the notification is on your phone with live video footage straight from your notifications! (Android device here)Would I recommend? Yes for a Google eco system and android phones. (Unsure on iOS)Would I recommend for Alexa? Probably not as ring will be alot more optimised for the device.- Draw backs?It is expensive, so I’d suggest waiting for the sales! Then it’s a bargain!

Looks great, convenient and easy install. However you might want to consider these things before buying.Limited event storage after nest aware trail ends, events are only kept for 3 hours before being auto deleted. Which might defeat the whole purpose of monitoring your home. I am sure google can easily do 12-24 hours at least but it’s their way if pushing Aware subscriptions. So you can either sub to Nest Aware or make sure you download event videos within 3 hours of getting the notification to review them later.Despite this concern, I find value in the device as a seamless addition to my Google Home setup. While it comes at a higher cost compared to other options, the two-way communication, mini live view, and night vision features are appreciated. I recommend the Nest Doorbell for those aiming for Google Home integration without the need for destructive installation.

WiFi version. Works great. Picks up all movement. Very clear video and face recognition. It’s bigger than any Ring doorbell and is not subtle. It lights up when it’s detects any movement and let’s whoever is at the door know it’s watching. A good deterrent and as opposed to being subtle. Sound quality is great too. Easy to connect and install. Recommend.

Una delle caratteristiche principali sono le notifiche intelligenti distingue persone, pacchi, animali e auto. L’audio bidirezionale è chiaro, molto utile per parlare ad esempio con il corriere quando non sono in casa.Funziona anche senza un abbonamento ma è da tener presente che se desideri sfruttare le funzionalità di riconoscimento facciale, dovrai abbonarti Nest Aware che ha un costo aggiuntivo. In ogni caso bisogna scaricare l’app Nest per la configurazione.Funziona a batteria ricaricabile ma è possibile l’installazione via cavo. Nella confezione non sono presenti le istruzioni ma è molto intuitivo e in internet sono presenti molteplici video per cercare un aiuto in caso di necessità.Nel complesso, si tratta di un eccellente campanello wireless/videocamera e lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un campanello intelligente affidabile e facile da usare con qualità e funzionalità video eccezionali.

Cette sonnette est incroyableAlors c’est possible de la branché en fillaire ou en mode batterie !Perso je suis passé en mode batterie et elle tient environs 4 semaines avec du passage assez régulié sans être une voie de passage. Environs une 20ène de détection par jours je dirais minimumL’angle est super important est la qualité est très bonne aussiLa porté du Wifi et pas mauvaise je suis a environs 15 mètre de mon Wifi mais j’ai du passer par un routeur un peu plus puissant que celui de ma box !La connexion ce fait naturellement via son smartphone avec l’appli HOME de chez Google ( très très facile , y’a un tuto soit avec des petites image ou une vidéo youtube fait par Google)Le bémol c’est pour les carrilons , il faut un adaptateur mais il est introuvable sur internet j’aimerais le raccorder en attendant mes Google home et mon téléphone font office de carrilons
