Introducing the SimpliSafe Auxiliary Siren
The outdoor alarm’s bright visual design and light makes it visible day and night . Place out of reach in a highly visible location to deter would-be burglars. Installation guide and hardware included.
Alert neighbours and emergency services to a potential break-in at your home. Plus, it’s backed by SimpliSafe’s award-winning security system and professional monitoring, so emergency help is sent to your door 24/7 anytime there’s trouble.

What is professional monitoring?
Professional monitoring is when your property is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round. If there is an intruder, monitoring offers guard dispatch as well as police dispatch depending on which monitoring plan you choose.
What happens when my alarm goes off if I don’t have monitoring?
Without monitoring, your system will act as a traditional, standalone alarm system. You will be notified by the siren sounding on your Base Station and Bellbox.
Do I need a Pro Premium Monitoring to use the App?
You can still view live camera feeds without Pro Premium Monitoring, arm/disarm your system, however all other features would require the subscription.
Do I need Wifi to use the system?
.4 GHz WiFi is needed to connect cameras to the base station, and to install the latest security updates. The alarm is connected the our monitoring station via WiFi and cellular backup, so if your WiFi fails, your home would still be secure.
Why should I choose SimpliSafe over another security provider?
During a break in, other smart security systems just give the bad guy a headache. With SimpliSafe’s Pro Premium Monitoring, guards and police are quickly dispatched to stop the bad guy, preventing loss of property and giving peace of mind.

I have been looking for an easy to use and setup system for some time looked at many via Youtube and came across SimpliSafe so thought I would give it try and YES its simple to set-up and use installing extra sensors was a breeze just need to put up the out side siren box ( don’t have any ladders ) but once that’s done its all complete the app was easy to down load and works extremely well I can check on my house from any where I opted for the monitoring service so piece of mind , Give it a try you want be disappointed .

Product setup very nicely is very easy to install and works well. However I had a problem with the base station which stopped working completely, contacted their customer service over a period of two weeks before times promised to replace front base station instead they sent out two new power supplies and after numerous telephone calls and emails finally sent out a base station. Wouldn’t recommend the product based on such poor service
Mark –

Purchased in the Black Friday deal, and for the price it’s perfect. Easy to use and set up, the alarm box outside is pretty loud also flashes red which is great for making people aware it’s there.
Customer Review –
I’ve been looking at getting a Ring security system for a while now, weighing up the pros and cons and just generally looking at what we’d need to cover our home and make it secure, so when this came up to trial, I jumped at the chance. It’s very nicely boxed up, and inside you get a number of different security components which when set up work together to secure your home. The components look good and feel good quality. You get a base station, this is the hub of the kit, this has a back-up battery should your power go out and it’s what the rest of the system connects to.The keypad can be put anywhere, we’ve put ours in the hallway, you can arm and disarm the system very easily. It has large buttons which are clear and easy to use, and you can see via the LCD display which setting/mode it’s currently in, home, away etc.A bell box, this goes on the wall outside your house and would hopefully work as a bit of a deterrent by itself, this emits a loud siren should your house be broken into, alerting neighbours and anyone else in the immediate area, and hopefully scaring off anyone up to no good. We’ve not actually put this up yet as it needs a long ladder and a bit of drilling. You also get an indoor camera so you can keep a watch of your home, this has live viewing mode, so you can log in and check things are ok from anywhere, however, without a plan you can’t record any footage.2 x entry sensors, which we have put on the front and back door and when armed an alarm will sound if those doors are breached, along with 2 motion sensors which are cleverly designed not to be triggered by pets, but only humans, these we’ve placed one downstairs and one upstairs. It took about an hour or so to read through everything and get it all set up. You can buy additional items to further bolster the system (entry sensors, cameras etc) and just add them in as you go along. The system as it currently stands works well enough. We tested it out by arming it and then moving around inside the house and it’s quick and responsive with an audible alarm sounding in the house as soon as movement is detected. But, and it’s a big ‘but’, it turns out that although this is marketed as being a stand alone system, which, strictly speaking it is, once the month’s free trial of Pro Premium monitoring ends the system effectively becomes pretty useless without the subscription. From what I can gather, whilst you have the subscription you have full use of the app and can see cameras while away from home, arm and disarm the system, get push notifications if the system is triggered, and all the things you’d expect, once this lapses if you choose not to continue with the quite expensive remote response plan all of these features are dropped, so you are basically left with a system that will make a sound inside your house, but that’s it. No real ability to use the app, and most crucially no push notifications to your phone if the system is set off. So if you’re in the office and your system is triggered, you’d have no way of knowing this, which quite frankly is ludicrous and makes the entire system pretty redundant. I can understand them placing some of the features as ‘plan only’ like the 24/7 monitoring and automatic emergency services response, but push notifications? Surely that’s essential to any security system? The ability to integrate it with Alexa also requires the top plan. The plans are currently ‘Pro’ which gives you a basic cover and limited app functionality and costs £15.99 per month (£191.88 a year) or the ‘Pro Premium’ which is £24.99 per month (£299.88 a year) and gives you all the monitoring services plus complete app functionality. Personally I feel this is a lot for a system that is meant to be subscription free, but turns out, actually it’s not as it’s pretty pointless without one.I’m just waiting for clarification from them regarding the lack of basic features without a paid plan, and if things have changed and they now offer more comprehensive cover and app usage, I will come back and amend/edit my review and rating.
