Never-ending Power
Each product packaging includes a solar panel for charging, which can be attached to your window to charge at any time, with battery life being able to last up to three years or more! The single unit with Solar Panel features battery life of around 10 months. You can also charge directly with USB Type-C should need be.

Set Timers according to your living habits and the environment around you to use our products to wake up to natural light, or have them close in the dining room in the evening before bed to save yourself the need to close your blinds.

We now have five Switchbot Blind Tilts and they are great. We’ve had four for a couple of years and bought another earlier this year for a different room.We run them on timers through the Switchbot app and we have never had an issue with them not working when we need them to. Four are in the same room and have been combined into one rule so they act together.They are great for when you’re not going to be at home when it gets dark or for when you’re away on holiday. It’s very easy to change the time they operate when the days get longer or shorter.They also work well with Alexa if you need to open/close without the timer.As you can see from the photo, they’re discreet and not visible unless you pull the curtains back.We don’t use the solar panel by choice based on the rooms we have them in.We have a different brand for opening our curtains which are very temperamental, recently when on holiday one individual stayed shut for the two weeks we were away. If we had bought the blind tilts first, we’d have gotten Switchbot Curtain Openers instead as we trust them. We will be replacing our existing ones when we get a chance with the Switchbot ones as based on our experience they are reliable and value for money as they do exactly what we need them to do.The app for Switchbot is much easier to navigate from the other brand too, was very easy to add in the additional tilt when we bought it.

I purchased a single SwitchBot Smart Motorized Blind Kit and it worked so well I then bought the 3-pack for my other blinds.These are really easy to install with no drilling etc. The instructions were straight forward to follow and the app walks you through the process with step by step visuals. Aside from the easy physical installation, the setup within the app worked flawlessly first time for each one I setup. I charged them up before use and a few months later, I’m only now having to charge them up again which is as expected. I am using the included solar panels fitted on the windows but it’s the middle of winter so I don’t think they will perform as well at this time of year in any case given the low light.It’s worth noting, the rod on one of my blinds is a bit stiff and not easy to twist, especially if the rod is pointing straight down (instead of holding it an an angle), this device is still able to open and close the blinds without any problem. I guess this will result in the battery life being shorter on this one but I was surprised it can open/close it with no issue.The Switchbot app is well thought out and has all the necessary settings you would expect. You can control the blinds via the app and set them so they auto open/close at specific times. The app also as the ability to automate them based on sunrise/sunset which I think would be the best choice.As a side note, whilst the app is comprehensive, after initially setting up within the app, I don’t use it in any way to control them and instead I have incorporated them within Home Assistant as HA natively supports these Switchbot devices so I can control them along with all my other smart home devices.Great item and feature rich app. Recommended!

This is a great idea, and it seems to work well. However it’s very fiddly to set up, and if you have more than a couple of blinds (I have 12 blinds in my kitchen) it gets quite messy and spoils the clean lines of the blinds. I knew that before I started, but it looks more messy than I had hoped.This will end up costing more than £700 to do them all.The solar charger doesn’t fit easily behind perfect-fit blinds, making it more messy than necessary. Additionally, the batteries require quite bright conditions to charge, I am not sure if there will be sufficient ambient light over the winter to keep them charged.All in all a great idea but needs to be more compact and neatened up considerably.

These handy little devices make automatic sunshine as well as nighttime privacy a simple task. There are a variety of ways to automate but I like the simple sunrise/sunset option to allow the most light in for plants and comfort in the day and ensuring privacy at night.I would highly advise combining with a hub if it doesn’t come as part of the pack to get the full use of the automation and functionality.I have these attached to both standard venesian blinds and a set of vertical blinds. It certainly works better on the properly supported venetian blinds but it is functional for the vertical blinds.It is an expensive outlay but there are often deals and discounts which make a great value proposition.Solar panels just stick to the window and work, no trouble here and the batteries remain well charged especially in the summer months.Overall a good buy and I am becoming quite fond of SwitchBot products.

I brought these to transform my blinds in the conservatory into automatic blinds. They have worked brilliantly with the small fitted blinds. I saw a video on you tube and then converted my bay window blinds with a pull cord to tilt blinds operated with these units. Depending on the mechanism to convert its been a bit of trial and error but all my blinds round the house are operated with this fantastic device 12 in all. A big cost at first and the wife wasn’t happy but soon got used to the convenience and security. I have the curtain closing device aswell and it’s just amazing.

These blinds motors are well engineered and manufactured with high quality materials. They also look nice.SwitchBot put a lot of thinking into this and designed it to fit on every types of venetian blinds. It also came with clear instructions and fitting tools.I switched to this product after years with a competitor and I have to say, it is really another level.
Why –
Easy to install and good unit. Come in white and I coloured myself to match. Bought 8 in total but one of the solar panels stopped working.

Great Product
Purchased the Switchbot blinds with hub mini.Here is my review. First after reading through other reviews I unpackaged the units and immediately charged the units for about 6 hours (much easier to charge prior to installation). Then I installed the unit, very easy to install. I didn’t time my first installation but the second install to less than 5 minutes. The calibration takes less than a minute.The feature set is great. I originally just set a time to close on the first day and open them through the app in the morning, worked perfect. The second day I create an automation to open at sunrise and close at sunset – PERFECT. The feature set includes Time, Automate, close up, close down, light sensing, status of blinds (open or closed with percentage) as well as other features. The solar panel is a very nice touch and the app displays the battery status. One thing I would have like is a longer cable for the solar panel, I have a 3 to 4 foot overhang directly above the windows. I originally installed at the top of the window but didn’t get enough light so I moved it down as far as I could, works better but I will just buy an extension cable to fix that issue. This is a great product. I was originally designing my own using an ESP8266 and a stepper motor. I would have spent more with less features so I bought this. THIS PRODUCT GREAT.Additional review of Switchbot motion sensor:Setup was simple since I already have a Switchbot hub mini. The sensor works well and has settings for short, medium, long distance and a light sensing feature which I am not using since my blinds are already dusk to dawn. The feature set is a little lacking. There are no unique tones so you have to use notifications from the existing ones on your phone. You can disable the sensor from the app but it’s buried a couple menus down and you have to turn it back on after it’s disabled, what I would have like to seen is a snooze button on the main menu where you could choose the interval ( 1, 2 ,3 hours.
